Category Manager (m/w/d) PC Accessories DACH

Your tasks

Create quarterly demand forecasts for our PC Accessories business as part of our business planning process, which influences our supply and budgetary goals
Evaluate and present sales/financial forecasts for Monthly and Quarterly Review meetings with senior leaders
Identify risks and opportunities and develop plans/countermeasures
Works closely with Sales Account Managers for Retail accounts across the DACH region to identify growth opportunities, new sales channels, and new sales activities
Assist the Category Manager for PC Accessories in full lifecycle management activities (i.e. launch planning, channel fill management, executing partner pitches, and end-of-life activities when products transition)
Creates recommendations for use of allocated budgets and works closely with Marketing and Channel Field teams to create and execute campaigns

Your skills

University degree or equivalent degree (i.e. Bachelors)
At least 5 years of experience in similar roles with a background in consumer electronics
Experience with product forecasting, managing product launches and end-of-life activities
Proven track record of data-based decision making and the ability to navigate ambiguity when not enough data is available
Good business judgement with the ability to weigh and assess risks and opportunities
Excellent people skills – a proven team player who seeks win-win outcomes and does not think short-term. Long-term thinking is key
Ability to influence decisions without direct authority
Track record of positive cross-functional collaboration
Fluency in German (write/read/speak), and solid proficiency in English (roughly B2 level or above)
Advanced Excel skills
Self-starter with a bias for action
