Your Job Description
- Collaborate with appropriate teams and resources, as well as on-site data center teams, to ensure efficient completion of tasks and the project
- Ensure and adhere to data center business units and service level policies, as well as all service levels and organizational level agreements (SLA/OLAs) to meet compliance and service requests
- Ensure that third-party vendors comply with security policies and suggest improvements based on experience
- Conscientiousness in staying within budget; keeping costs down and assisting managers with budget forecasting
- Assist Finance in accruing and taking action to avoid after-the-fact (ATF) costs
- Prepares and monitors purchase orders (POs) to ensure sufficient funds for operations
- Oversees subcontractors/vendors, ensuring that vendors perform data center tasks in accordance with company standards and taking follow-up action as necessary
- Implementation of the communicated strategic vision by the manager
- Follow and adhere to safety and security policies and procedures
- Reporting any security and safety issues or concerns
- Assist with Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Your qualification profile
- Technical university degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications or related field
- 1+ years industry experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) or working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling), preferred in data center technician roles or comparable positions
- 3+ years of relevant IT-related course work
- Availability to work 100% in a data center
- Applicable certifications: ASICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, PMP, ITIL, CDCP
- Conflict resolution and problem solving skills

- Strong written and spoken English skills required
