Your Job Description
- Identification and exploration of Microsoft Cloud solutions for promising startups in the SMB segment
- Assistance to tech startups in aligning their business strategies with Microsoft technologies, products, and services
- Close collaboration with various Microsoft teams such as SMB Sales, Marketing & Communications, Microsoft for Startups, and partner organizations
- Providing the right resources at the right time to ensure positive digital outcomes for startups
- Acquisition of new Microsoft Cloud opportunities by identifying the right business and technology decision-makers in the German startup ecosystem
- Understanding the needs, priorities, and budget processes of startups and communicating the value proposition of Microsoft
- Driving new customer acquisition opportunities in the Microsoft Cloud solutions domain
- Collaboration with local startup teams and partners to achieve successful customer outcomes
Your qualification profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of sales or business development experience within the technology industry or startup ecosystem
- Sound understanding of the German market and the local German startup ecosystem
- Outstanding skills as an opportunity hunter with a strong passion for business development and sales, along with enthusiasm for acquiring new business and customer experiences through innovative approaches like social selling
- Strong operational excellence and organizational talents to effectively track and manage the business development area within Microsoft's CRM system
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German
